Setting up

This is the first post on the blog. It exists mostly to prove that the whole pipeline works end to end. I tested with scrap math and inline syntax-highlighted code. So far so good. This meta post also lets me say a little about what I plan to write here.

Why this blog? #

• Data sovereignty
• Consistent looks and feel
• Not beholden to the whims of certain platforms
• Flexibility in adding both MD and TEX files
• A place to collect my thoughts in general

What have I done different #

Instead of static site generator, used my custom engine. It is barebones but works for both formats. Also I like a ceetain structure to my project and instead of tinkering around prebuilt structures, it was time to make my own
